About Maya
Originally hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Maya is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a minor in Creative Writing.
A true multi-hyphenate based in NYC, Maya is a lover of science fiction, genre-bending music (currently jungle D&B), pilates, prose, visual arts, and further promoting diverse and equitable creative spaces.

Maya will be performing in a series of 54 Below concerts, including the classics of The Second Barbra Streisand Album on May 21st at 9:30pm.
And starting June 28th, you can see Maya amongst a star-studded cast in GIULIA, a new musical making its world-premiere at the Perelman Performing Arts Center in NYC. Music/lyrics/book by Jennifer Nettles, directed by Mary Zimmerman, and choreographed by Austin McCormick.
